Carnaval is closely identified with Brazil's roots and traditions. From Friday evening through to the following Tuesday, Carnaval revellers dance through the streets. The highlight is undoubtedly the world-famous Samba School Parade through the Sambadrome. This is surely the world's largest and liveliest street festival, infecting locals and visitors alike with its irresistible excitement. 
Tours and entrance tickets for the famous Carnival Parade can be booked at an additional cost.
